Serviced & working well. Front panel missing (obviously!).
A great vintage BBD echo/chorus - these sound great, glitch interestingly when overdriven, and can be tweaked via internal trim pots to get the amount of feedback you desire.
Obviously this is missing its front panel - it came to us that way but we bought it anyway because we like these boxes so much. All controls have been labelled, but this is what it should have looked like:

- It is a 100v Japanese model and will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power)
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
Bubbling... This was supposed to be a post showing how good the little Ace Tone FR-6 beatbox sounds, but the Teisco BBD delay was just sitting there needing a test and became something of a distraction. Great combo though - the clean, crisp sound of the FR-6 (see our last post for info about this unit) and the analogue wobbles of the Teisco SR-403E. Ace Tone is on the site, come direct for the Teisco.
